Guga is a real hamster, and the heart of this brand.

Hi, I'm Angel.

When I was seven, I wanted a dog. My parents said no, and offered hamsters instead. I think that's how many hamster stories begin: not as a first choice, but as a compromise.

Then I met my first hamster and fell completely in love. Such a tiny animal with such a big heart. There was something about hamsters that no other pet gave me.

Here's the honest part: back then, I didn't know what a hamster really needs, and neither did my parents. That's nobody's fault. Small barred cages were simply what was sold to us, and we did our best with the knowledge we had.

More than ten years later, I moved out on my own, and the first thing I did was adopt a hamster. I still had a lot to learn. This time, I started asking questions and researching, and little by little I understood what a hamster truly needs. My partner and I upgraded his home again and again. We bought him wonderful things, and some not-so-wonderful ones, and we learned the difference along the way.

We lost him after a year and a half of endless love, and our hearts were broken. We weren't ready for another hamster. But as time passed, we realized the heartbreak was worth every moment. For us, he was a year and a half of our lives. For him, we were his whole life. That is what makes these little animals so special.

Then came Guga, a Syrian hamster named after a chef my partner admires. This time we gave him everything he needs from day one, and today he lives a happy, enriched life.
